…”in a London antique shop under the  waggish name of “Miss Toplady” . Mary liked to refer to it as “an iniquity shop”; she found it convenient for selling pictures in which she had invested. Venice was a particularly good source of bargains, and on one shopping trip there Mary and Logan bought “quantities of thing for Miss Toplady”….
